Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VolleyIQ (available at myvolleyiq.com and related mobile applications), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. VolleyIQ is operated by VolleyIQ ("we," "us," or "our"), based in the State of Florida, United States.

2. Account Registration

To use VolleyIQ, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete information during registration and keep it current.

Age Requirements

• You must be at least 13 years of age to access the full VolleyIQ platform, including recruiting features and paid subscriptions.
• Users between 13 and 17 years old are encouraged to obtain parental or guardian consent before registering.
• Children under 13 may create a limited free account restricted to viewing coach-entered stats only. Under-13 accounts may not subscribe to a paid plan, maintain a public recruiting profile, or access recruiting features (school pipeline, NCAA calendar, goal tracking). No personal data beyond name and email is collected for under-13 accounts.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@myvolleyiq.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Account Types and Pricing

VolleyIQ offers the following plans. Current prices are always shown at checkout and on our pricing page.

• Team Season — an annual subscription, priced per team, covering twelve months from the date of purchase. Per-team pricing is graduated: the more teams on one subscription, the lower the per-team rate. A team season includes live stat entry, offline scoring, the bench view, team and rotation analytics, roster management, stats auto-sync to player profiles, and free stats-only access for the team's players. Organizations with more than fifteen teams should contact us for pricing.
• Player — a monthly subscription. Public recruiting profile, school pipeline tracker, self-reported and coach-verified stats, NCAA calendar, highlight video embedding, and profile view analytics.
• Parent — a monthly subscription. Follow one or more children, view their statistics and analytics, and record stats when no coach is scoring.
• Player seats purchased by a club — a club may purchase annual player recruiting seats and assign them to players on its teams. An assigned seat provides the same features as an individually purchased Player subscription for as long as the club maintains it.
• College Coach — Free. Discover players, view verified stats, and follow recruits.

Renewal, Changes, and Expiration

• Automatic renewal: All subscriptions renew automatically — team seasons annually, player and parent plans monthly — unless canceled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Adding teams mid-season: Teams added to an existing team-season subscription are charged immediately, prorated for the remainder of the current season.
• Removing teams: Reducing the number of teams takes effect at your next renewal. No refunds or credits are issued for teams removed mid-season.
• Expiration: When a team season ends without renewal, the team's data becomes read-only: historical statistics, rosters, and reports remain accessible, but new matches cannot be scored.
• Introductory pricing: Where a price is identified as introductory, it remains in effect for as long as the subscription remains continuously active. A lapsed subscription re-subscribes at then-current pricing.

All prices are in US dollars and are subject to change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers; a price change never affects a period you have already paid for. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

4. Free Trial

First-time subscribers are eligible for a 14-day free trial of paid features. The free trial is limited to one per user and requires a valid payment method through Stripe. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your selected subscription begins automatically and Stripe charges the payment method on file — for a team season, that charge is the full annual amount for the number of teams you selected. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free trial at any time.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from VolleyIQ.
• Create fake accounts, impersonate others, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
• Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users.
• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

6. Stats Accuracy

VolleyIQ distinguishes between coach-verified stats (entered by a coach through the StatPad during matches) and self-reported stats(entered by the player). Coach-verified stats are marked with a verified badge on player profiles.

VolleyIQ does not independently verify the accuracy of any statistics, whether coach-entered or self-reported. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any statistical data displayed on the platform. Users rely on such data at their own risk.

7. AI-Generated Content and Recommendations

VolleyIQ uses artificial intelligence to generate match and tournament diagnostics, lineup recommendations, practice priorities, personal player development plans, and other suggestions ("AI Content"). AI Content is generated automatically from available data and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.

AI Content is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute professional coaching, medical, or recruiting advice, and is not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified coach, healthcare provider, or advisor. You are solely responsible for evaluating AI Content and deciding whether and how to act on it. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI Content for any purpose.

8. Medical Disclaimer

AI Content may include suggested at-home drills, conditioning exercises, or other physical training recommendations ("Training Suggestions"). Training Suggestions are not medical advice and are not a substitute for consultation with a licensed physician, athletic trainer, or other qualified healthcare provider.

Before beginning any Training Suggestion or exercise program, consult a physician — particularly if you or the player in your care has a pre-existing injury, medical condition, or physical limitation. VolleyIQ, its officers, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for any injury, harm, or adverse health outcome resulting from reliance on Training Suggestions or any other AI Content.

9. NCAA Recruiting Deadlines

VolleyIQ displays NCAA recruiting calendar dates, dead/quiet/contact periods, and related deadlines ("Recruiting Deadlines") as a courtesy feature, compiled from publicly available NCAA sources. Recruiting Deadlines may be incomplete, outdated, or inapplicable to your specific division, sport, or class year.

VolleyIQ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a representative of the NCAA. Recruiting Deadlines are not a substitute for official NCAA documentation. You are responsible for confirming all recruiting rules and deadlines directly with the NCAA (ncaa.org), your institution's compliance office, or another authoritative source. VolleyIQ is not liable for any missed deadline, lost recruiting opportunity, or NCAA eligibility issue arising from reliance on Recruiting Deadlines displayed in the Service.

10. Intellectual Property

The VolleyIQ name, logo, software, website design, and all related intellectual property are owned by VolleyIQ and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

11. Data Ownership

You own your data.All content you submit to VolleyIQ — including profile information, statistics, photos, and videos — remains your property. By using the Service, you grant VolleyIQ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., displaying your public profile to college coaches). This license terminates when you delete your account or remove the content.

An athlete's statistics belong to the athlete.Statistics recorded about a player are that player's record, not the recording coach's. If you are a coach or club director and you delete your account, a team, or your organization, each affected athlete keeps a season-level summary of their own statistics so their recruiting history is not erased by a decision they had no part in. Match-level detail and anything identifying your account is deleted with it. Athletes control their own summaries and may delete them at any time.

Coaches and club directors may direct exports of their team's statistics to third-party services such as MaxPreps. By recording statistics on a team, players and parents acknowledge that the team's coach controls team-level exports of match statistics, in the same way a coach controls a paper scorebook. Exported data is governed by the receiving service's terms once transferred.

12. Termination and Suspension

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting support@myvolleyiq.com. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise objectionable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or legitimate business purposes.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VolleyIQ and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, regardless of the theory of liability.

Our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to VolleyIQ in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VolleyIQ, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Florida for the resolution of any disputes.

16. Dispute Resolution

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at support@myvolleyiq.com. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days. If the dispute is not resolved within that period, either party may proceed with formal legal action in the courts of the State of Florida.

17. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Service and cancel your account.
